Anger Managment Workshop

Do you feel angry and don't know why? Do you feel unheard by others resulting in yelling and/or physical aggresssion toward people and/or objects? Do you stuff your anger resulting in feeling stressed, reduced energy, poor sleep patterns? Anger is a healthy emotion despite its poor reputation of 'being bad'. How we express it and manage our anger plays a large role in negotiating situations successfully as well as our physical and mental well being. This workshop will teach you to identify and manage triggers of aggression and learn effective communication skills to express emotions in a healthy productive way. Workbook Included.

Become a Love and Logic Parent Workshop 

Parents have the ulitmate challenge today to conquer the overwhelming task of raising children. At times, childrens behavior can be stress and anger provoking, causing a parent much distress, confusion, sadness and self-doubt etc. There is a solution!  "Becoming a Love and Logic Parent" is a unique, healthy approach to parenting that focuses on strengthening the parent-child bond while letting your child experience logical life consequenses.  Workshop focus is on teaching responsibility, giving control through choices, healthy problem solving, decision making and limit setting, and the role of empathy.  Workbook Included.

Healthy Breathing:  A Smoking Cessation Workshop 

Are you tired of smoking? Are you thinking of quitting but raise questions of what life will be like without a cigarette? Is weight gain a concern? Whether you smoke one cigarette or two packs a day, the benefits of quitting smoking to ones physical and mental health are immeasureable.  The decision to quit is half the battle. In this workshop, with the support of peers, learn how to conquer this nicotine habit for good and begin to feel better almost immediately. Bring a friend and quit together. Workbook included.
